OSSTF District 14 advocates and serves approximately 1000 members who belong either to the Teachers’ Bargaining Unit or the Occasional Teacher’s Bargaining Unit in Clarington, Northumberland, and Peterborough. District 14 works to promote and enhance public education through engagement, negotiations, and by offering professional growth and development to our members.
The Member Engagement Committee is a District Committee (OTBU and TBU) who meets to discuss and plan ways to engage our members with The Union. In the past we have planned events, created the community sponsorship program, and during the pandemic we were able to support Branches financially to help staff wellness.
